If someone orders a GC and orders the optional block heater they are charged $395.00. The cord is put in at the Jeep assembly plant.
lstowell 4607 posts 路 Joined 2013. #3 路 Aug 27, 2014. If the fuel pressure sensor does not detect enough fuel pressure in the injector fuel rail, it WILL immediately shut the engine off. Doesn't matter if due to a failed fuel pump, a busted injector, a big hole in the high pressure fuel circuit, whatever.

There seems to be some confusion both at the dealer & with Jeep customer service as they both seem to think the service bulletin is ONLY for unsold vehicles. The Diesel Supplement to the Manual for the vehicle has been updated to reflect the 64posts 路 Joined 2015. #6 路 Nov 9, 2015. Folks, I have a 2014 GC Diesel Summit and it does have a Block Heater found pretty much as in the pictures from Milious, on the passenger side of the engine. It is clearly a 120V 3 prong cable with a plug cap on the end exactly as you can see in the picture. When you unravel it, the cord is about 3 14posts 路 Joined 2014. #1 路 Aug 10, 2014. I've had my 2014 in 4 times on check engine light. Showing exhaust system codes. They went through entire DEF system and finally found crystals in or near DEF injector. Replaced injector.
