When I first pulled the camera out of the box for this Canon 6D review, my very first thought was: this is utterly amazing. What's surprising is that Canon has placed a full-frame sensor into a camera that is really not all that much bigger than their line of semi-professional cameras that include the 40D, 50D and 60D.

As a result of the magnesium body the K3 is a slightly heavier at 25.2 ounces when compared to the D7100’s 23.8 ounces. Even in its current aging form, the camera has a faster frame rate than the Canon Rebels, the 6D/5D full-frames, and the $700 Canon EOS 60D (not the same as the 6D; it is like the T4i on features).

The crop and the APS-C image will actually have shallower depth of field than the full frame image, if you view all three at the same size but, as I say, the full frame image will be a different enough photograph that the depth of field differences are the least of your problems.
I just upgraded from a 60D to a 6D. I'm amazed at the image quality and low noise from the full frame sensor. You can easily capture usable photos at ISO1600, 3200, and 6400. This will open up a lot more opportunities to you when shooting in less than ideal lighting situations. The difference is
