You might be surprised to know that some 15w-50’s are thinner than some 10/50 oils. Without knowing the exact specs of power synth 10/50 I can’t choose it’s replacement. These multi cam and valve engines (especially KTM) seem very sensitive about absolute viscosity not just a 10w, but where it falls in the 10w range.
#2 · Jul 31, 2017 That is correct. Oil service every 10,000km or 6,000 miles. Now, at the risk of igniting an oil opinion flame war. I freshen the oil at half that, with the filter change and screen check at the recommended intervals. Mostly because big singles tend to make the oil go black pretty fast. But also because oil is cheap insurance.
Hi all, I've got the problems with a brand new 2018 superduke 1290R. - MTC and ABS failure on occasion when driving normally, can trigger it 100% when doing a wheelie, I don't have track pack just turn of MTC (See pictures) (garage doesn't know what it is) - General Failure, this mostly comes after the abs and mtc failure, or at random. this

To check the oil level in the fork is to the recommended level use - Tool No. 113-050-500. To do this add approximately 100cc of oil to the fork, insert the oil level tool to the preset stop (see recommended settings on page 2) and suck out any excess oil.
